Noah S. (the Honorable) ROSENBLOOM

Age 89 Died peacefully on January 15, 2014 at Reflections on German, New Ulm, MN. Services will be held at Nora Unitarian Universalist Church, Hanska, MN Sunday January 19, 2014 at 2pm. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, NORTH CHAPEL, 218 N. Broadway, New Ulm, MN and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Sunday. Noah is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet; their 4 children and spouses: David Rosenbloom and Annie Handford, St. Paul, MN; Sara Rosenbloom and Greg Peters, Laconia, NH; Nan (Nancy) Rosenbloom and Alan Bol, Boulder, CO; and Thomas (Tom) Rosenbloom and Michelle Brim, Webster City, IA; six grandchildren: Ben, Alec, and Leah Peters, Isaac Rosenbloom, and Nathan and Eva Rosenbloom-Bol; his brother and sister-in-law Amos Rosenbloom and Marsha McDonald, in-laws Reva Rosenbloom, Barbara and Don Joseph, and John and Evelyn Biesterfeldt, and many nieces and nephews. Noah was preceded in death by his parents Eli and Esther Rosenbloom, his sister and brother-in-law Jean Ann (Maanit) and Willie Tsoran (Kibbutz Sasa, Israel), and his infant son, Mark Rosenbloom.Noah was a graduate of Washburn High School (1942), and the U of MN Law School (1952). He served as Minnesota District Court Judge from 1963-1990. Noah served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946, followed by 20 years in the Naval Reserve. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Nora Unitarian Universalist Church or to the donor's .
