Age 84 of Sparks, NV died on May 2, 2013 O.V., as he was known to his friends, was born on March 19, 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended William Mitchell Law School in St. Paul, Minnesota, and spent 44 years as a Law Book Sales Rep for West Publishing Company, now Thomson Reuter, of Eagan, Minnesota. Orville enjoyed working with wood, especially making wooden toys at the Nevada Woodchucks for Children's Cabinet. He was an avid reader, hunter, and fisherman, which took him all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Fortunately, he also thoroughly enjoyed car travel as he crossed the country many times on family trips. He enjoyed card games, jig saw puzzles, and a good cocktail. Family gatherings were the best of times. A legend to his family and friends. Survived by Carol Larsen a loving wife of 29 years, and Betty Larsen a former wife of 28 years. Father to 3 (Carolyn, Thomas & Rita); Grandfather to 6 (Carrie, Tracy, Steven, Shari, Brandon & Travis); Great Grandfather to 3 (Jordan, Michael & Mya); Step "Grandpa" to Jeffrey and Pamela Kuechenmeister, Bryan and Daniel Kuechenmeister. Remembered for his strength, integrity, and character. Proud to be called a Marine, he served in the United States Marine Corps
