Age 61 Born, November 23, 1951 Minneapolis, MN. Died February 18, 2013. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, Pete is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jane, his cherished-beyond-words daughters, Angela and Elise, sisters Silvia and Vizma and numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters- in law. A graduate of Golden Valley High School and St. Cloud State University, Pete worked as a United Airlines international pilot for 26 years. His true passion was his family and he will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his brilliant sense of humor, his delight in entertaining, his thorough enjoyment of anything motorized and his amazing talent and ability to make or fix just about anything. He was a true Renaissance man. He loved spending every possible moment at the lake boating, building, fixing, playing, creating and sitting around the campfire. A celebration of Pete's life will be held at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Hilton Trail & Stillwater Road in Mahtomedi, on Friday, February 22 2013, at 11 a.m. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials for his daughters' education are suggested in lieu of flowers.
