Lynda BRADLEY-VACCO Obituary

of Blaine, born March 31, 1965, entered into eternal life on August 2, 2015 after a battle with cancer that she fought with faith, grace, & courage. Lynda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Vacco and their children Bradley, Michaela, & Benjamin; mother Mary Bradley,; sister Lori (Rick) Carlson; brother David (Tammy) Bradley, and many nieces & nephews. Lynda was preceded in death by her father Richard Bradley. Dr. Vacco (more familiarly known as 'Doc Voc' to her students) conducted the Bethel University Orchestra, taught private violin & viola instruction, string pedagogy, coached chamber ensembles, and served as an instructor in the general education curriculum. Dr. Vacco frequently served as clinician & adjudicator throughout Minnesota and participated as a violist in numerous Twin Cities performing ensembles, most notably VocalEssence, Minnesota Dance Theater, Minnesota Chorale, Minnesota Sinfoonia, & Minnesota Opera. The musical accomplishment she took most pride in, however was her students. Dr. Vacco's love of music and teaching inspired many throughout her career and these relationships are the ones she cherished the most. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, Aug 6, 1 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at the Church of the Epiphany, 11001 Hanson Blvd, NW, Coon Rapids. I was a parent of one of Lynda's students. Whenever we talked I always felt she could see who I am and I could see her beautiful heart immediately. No waiting.

It was a privilege to serve with Lynda and to support her in her calling to inspire and educate and perform music to the glory of God. I will miss her

Lynda was an Incredible woman! She will be missed. Her care for others, love of life, and positive spirit will always be remembered. Her "choose love ... choose happiness" showed in everything she did.

My heart goes out to her family, such a hard loss.

Dr Vacco was a beautiful example of walking with Jesus; an unselfish giver, with sincere warmth, real humility, passion and joy. And she still is, in her eternal home, but it is so very very sad that she had to leave her dear family. I am sure many of us will be praying for your comfort.

Lynda was one of the very fine teachers I was pleased to get to know at Bethel. She brought great joy to her work and to her students. This is a loss for all who knew her.
