Age 90, of Chanhassen Previously of Edina, MN Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Preceded in death by wife Patricia Mae Dorsey; children George Charles Dorsey III and Mary Pat Dorsey. Survived by children, Matthew (Betsy) Dorsey, Mark (Kelly) Dorsey, Peter (Jill) Dorsey, Michelle Dorsey Smith, Theresa (James) Broemer, David Dorsey, Tom (Nancy) Dorsey, Rick (Julie) Dorsey, Kathy (Douglas) Svenkerud, Timothy Dorsey; 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Graduated from St. Thomas Academy, St. Thomas College, University of Minnesota Medical School. World War II veteran. Partner Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology and Psychiatry, St. Mary's Drug and Alcohol Rehab. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St, Chanhassen (952-934-9106). luncheon after mass provided by family. Visitation on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home, Eden Prairie Chapel, 16394 Glory Lane. Also visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Tuesday. Private family interment, Wednesday at the St. Hubert Cemetery, Chanhassen. In lieu of flowers, go have some ice cream, a glass of scotch or a cigar and give a toast to George on a life well lived!
