I am so sorry to hear of the loss of my classmate. She was always such a good person, never would hurt a fly. I am so devastated of this news. I used to do her hair for class doings while in high school. A wonderful person and a super mom I am sure, and a great wife. My prayers and condolences go out to all of her family. I will miss her

Barbara was a classmate of mine at Dunseith. The last time I visited with her was at a reunion many years ago. There were only a few of us from the class of 65 that attended the reunion. I was glad to have had the oppurtunity of visiting with Barbara. She seemed so happy with her children, husband and life. I am so sory to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences to her husband and children.

Dear Al and family. Please know of our love for Kathy. When we met after the community meeting and prayed, Kathy's faith, trust and eyes of hope were very apparent. Kathy's joining Jesus was His idea and not ours, because we hoped and believed as we stood not knowing why life for Kathy proceeded in the direction it did. But we know His love is everlasting and so was Kathy's for Him.

I am sorry to hear about Kathy (Barbara), I remember her from Dunseith School even though she was older than me. To the Lopez family: I lost my sister in May to lung cancer also and it was and is still a hard time, but many happy memories keep her alive in my heart and Kathy's memories will do the same for you. Know that she is at peace with God.

Gabe & family, I am so sorry hearing about your loss. This is an incredibly painful time for all of you, so I will leave you with some of her gifts. I'll never forget her amazing salsa-cheese sause, her sense of humor, and her hospitality whenever Verna & I would come by. She had a smile that lit up the room, and eyes that could see the love and good in everyone's soul. Your mom was a strong, incredible woman and mom. She was a child of Christ and always reminded everyone that we were also, and although her soul is alive with him she will never leave your side. To the Lopez family- I am sorry to learn of Mrs Lopez's passing. I guess you can tell in my reference to Kathy as 'Mrs Lopez,' I remember her from an earlier time when I was a classmate of Gabriel's at Visitation and friends with Anita. It was so nice to see the Lopez family at Mass because they always filled a row like us Iversons. Her participation in activities, pride in her husband and children was obvious every time I saw her, and that is how I will always remember her. She raised good kids and I'm sure she delighted in her grandchildren.
May the sweet memories you have of her and the prayers from friends and strangers alike give you comfort at this time.

I am so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. She was Barbara to those of us that she attended school with. She was a unique individual with so many dreams in life. I think those dreams were fullfilled with her wonderful family and husband Al. She rose above the hard knocks that life had to offer. She was not one to be underestimated. She will be missed. Our condolence go out to all of you, her family.
