Ken and I were fellow Navy pilots together in a Patrol Squadron. We left the Navy for Northwest Airlines at the same time on a military charter flight leaving our Squadron's assigned location at Keflavik Iceland in 1968. Ken was a wonderful Navy pilot and commercial pilot with Northwest Airlines. We have been through a lot together with such events as flying night Navy patrol flights in the North Atlantic looking for Soviet submarines or surviving through some long strikes at Northwest. I will miss Ken and it's always sad to see a fellow Navy and Northwest pilot say good by and 'Fly West'.

Ken and I were pilots together in USN Patrol Squadron 44, flying P-3 aircraft from Iceland. We both left at the same time and joined Northwest airlines in 1968. Thus we shared a joint background and family friendship.
We are sorry to miss the service. We were away in Glacier National Park and just returned.

Condolences and prayerful sympathies, to the Bergman family. Ken and I had similar histories, flying in the Navy, hired at NWA in 1968, always an enjoyable acquaintance.
