Age 83 ~ Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Friend Passed away September 20, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Don A. & Marie Chandler and brother, John (Mary Louise). Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Joan (Bowman); children, David (Donna), William (Theresa) and Mary Beth (James) Kremer; grandchildren, Tara (John) Helfrich, Jennifer (James) Schweigert , Justin Farrer; Andrew (Alison), Colleen, James Chandler; Ben (Lisa) Kremer, Simon (Heather) Kremer; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Bowman; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Sandra) Bowman, Patrick (Leslie) Bowman; many nieces and nephews. Cretin Class of '47, College of St. Thomas, U of M, Mpls School of Art. Career included Reid Ray Films, Japs-Olson; USAF Veteran of Korean Conflict. A hero to many, his kindness and humor will live on through all of us. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 25 at 11 AM at CHURCH OF LUMEN CHRISTI (2055 Bohland Ave., St. Paul). Gathering of family and friends starting at 9 am until Mass at church Tuesday. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home or Cretin High School. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
