Arnold Valentine MALASKE Obituary
Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather - Age 96 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 9, 2012. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 60 years, Ann; 3 sisters; 5 brothers; and son-in-law, Louie Samu. Survived by daughters, Monica (Jim) Lang, Kathy Malaske-Samu, Beth (Gary) Livingston; grandchildren, Tony (Lori), Missy (Jay), Matt (Lisa), Angie (Tom), Libby (Joe), Phil, Joe, Valerie (Jake); and 19 great-grandchildren. Arnie served during WWII in the Air Corps with the 856th Bomb Squadron flying 35 missions, including 2 during D-Day. He was a hard worker, a proud union member of over 50 years, staunch DFLer & chief fish filleter. He enjoyed an intelligent political debate, a good game of cribbage & watching his grandchildren & great-grandchildren's activities. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, December 14 at MATERNITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New Brighton. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ Co. Rd. B and also at church on Friday from 10-11 AM.
