Age 73 of Golden Valley, MN Passed away on November 16, 2012 after a short, but courageous battle with Lymphoma. After graduating from Anoka High School in 1956, Bruce became an employee of the Ford Motor Company and also spent 8 years serving his country as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. Bruce was tied to several automotive businesses until 1972 after which he started, ran and sold several other businesses, the largest being Circuit Services Corporation, which was worldwide. Bruce held several patents for items used in high speed drilling of printed circuit boards which allowed him to form the Lubra Sheet Corporation. Bruce is probably most known for his passion of classic cars and street rods which he enjoyed for over 60 years. So much so, he made a business of his old car hobby with Valley Auto for over 30 years. BJ was charter member of the Mini Birds of Minnesota, Twin City Regional Group of the Early Ford Club of America and very active in classic car auctions and swap meets all across the U.S. Preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Vivalore. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Katherine, sister Sharon (Ted) Dompeling of Crest Hill, IL. and numerous other family members and friends. Memorial service to be held at Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, MN on December 1, 2012 at 1:30 PM with visitation one hour before. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Animal Humane Society. Private interment.
