Dad, I'm thinking about Mom remembering all the wonderful time we spent together. She was my BEST FRIEND. If I didn't see Mom each day, we talked on the phone. Sometimes she called me just to complain, or discuss politics. The days I called her, we would talk about a recipe or I would ask her advise. She and I had some terrific travels together, and I told her that over and over. Our trips were the best! I loved her so very much. And even though she has left us for heaven, she and I will always be very close, and have a special connection. I only hope that I can influence my daughters with the same understanding, acceptance and unconditional love that Mom and you have shown me. I love you Dad. Ter XO

Clarice was a strong-hearted and giving person. She was a great supporter of our Community and a strong voice on Native issues. We will miss her. The Dakota never really say goodbye we say "Toksta Ake" (see you again).

To the Gombold family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. June, Ann, Joy and Teri your mother was a wonderful lady. I have many fun wonderful memories of playing at your house on Lincoln Avenue, from making the library in the attic to dancing to the radio on the front steps. Remember the good times!
