Age 63 ~ Of Woodbury Formerly of Stillwater Passed away suddenly on April 19, 2012. Grew up in Afton; 30+ year resident of Stillwater. Lifelong and active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Afton. Retired after 35+ years at 3M. Avid outdoorsman, got the nickname "Mallard" while hunting, fishing and camping with friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Lester & Adele (Swanson) Albrecht and sister, Judy Dusk. Survived by 3 children: Bethany (Travis) Roberts of Burnsville MN, Jenna Albrecht (Dave Westerhouse) of Wausau WI & Paul Albrecht of Stillwater; their mother, Ann Albrecht of Hudson WI; 3 granddaughters, Zoe & Ava Roberts and Natasha Albrecht; nieces, Vanessa (Karl) Dusk-Strom & their children, Jada & Chloe, and Brooke (David Hauth) Dusk; extended family & many friends - especially those at Stonecrest Presbyterian Home. Memorial Service: 11 AM Monday, April 23 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 880 Neal Ave, Afton. Visitation 1 hr prior. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorials may be designated to the family.
