James Harlow PALMER Obituary
Born February 2, 1920 in Sunnyside, Washington Passed gently into his unknown on May 24, 2013 following his wife, Lillian Elizabeth Veronda Palmer's passing on April 19, 2013. Lee and Jim were married 67 years. He was ready and willing to join her. They had three daughters, Susan Withrow (Stephen), Nancy Palmer (Michael Hopps), and Kathy Bigelow (Bill); 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He worked in the St. Paul Public Schools for 30 years as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal and principal at Murray H.S., Mechanic Arts H.S. and Highland Junior High. He was admired by many for his wit, wisdom, helpfulness, his good spirits and love. He shared himself freely with all he met. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who adored him. Hopefully, all age is erased and Lee and Jim are young and dreaming new dreams together in whatever universe or source they seek. May our souls rise up to meet them always and give us peace. A celebration of his life will begin at St. Paul Episcopal Homes, Cornelia House Chapel, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 1:30pm.
