Retired Teacher-Tartan High School Of West St Paul formerly of Stillwater Born on March 27, 1935, met her Savior on January 28, 2014 while surrounded by loved ones. Will be missed by loving friend Elaine Bonk and her family; Dan (Connie), Terry (Jill)), Mike (Marti), Joe, and Kathy (Mike) Gamlen, as well as several relatives of Ruth Neumann, many devoted friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Jessie and best friend, Ruth Neumann. June graduated from St. Louis Park High School and the U of M with BA and MA degrees in education, which was her passion. She was honored by the U of M Women's Physical Education Alumnae Association in 1990 for her outstanding contributions to School Health Education in the state. June taught in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District for her entire teaching career. June was an avid golfer and golf instructor for many years during her summer breaks from teaching. She will be remembered for her keen wit, quick smile, gentle ways, encouraging words, high-fives and hugs.She will be missed by many who knew and loved her. Funeral Service Saturday 10:30 a.m. at KANDT & TETRICK FUNERAL HOME, 140 8th Avenue North, South St. Paul. Visitation Saturday 1 hour before Service. Interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Foundation. These three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
