Lynette Mary (Lynn) FORSTER Obituary
Age 55 of Farmington For He shall give His angels charge over you and keep you in all your ways (Psalms 91:11); and Be Not Afraid, for I go before you always (Hymn). Lynette (Lynn) Mary Forster, born June 26, 1958 and beloved daughter, sister, auntie, friend and colleague is now walking with the angels to her Lord. Lynn started this final journey to the Lord on January 20, 2014 due to Primary Lung Cancer (non-smoker) with metastatic disease to the brain, bone and others. Preceding her in death was her brother Ronald; and grandparents Andrew and Matilda Steffl and Theodore and Alice Forster. Survived by parents Willard and Daria Forster (nee: Steffl), Fairmont and formerly of Shakopee; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Douglas, Stillwater; Perry (Dawn), Shakopee; Craig (Joice), Fairmont; Jay, Monticello; Steve (Denise), Savage; Mark (Kristin), Bloomington; Ryan (Carrie) Rosemount. Also her beloved and cherished nephews and nieces, Tony, Cassie (Luke), Megan (Brent), Michael, Tom, Kate, Robin and her 'wee ones' Emily, Luke, Peighton, Lacey and Brecken. Lynn loved to read, walk, sew, craft, watch PBS and reminisce about family history a long time past. Lynn graduated from Shakopee High School and then went on to earn her under-graduate and graduate degrees at the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in Education. For the past 15 years she was an employee with Ameriprise Financial, Minneapolis, working as a Process Analyst. Lynn always commented about the wonderful opportunities and challenges of working for a great company and always appreciated everything they provided to ensure her success. She was constantly amazed and blessed to work with wonderful people including Margo, Deb, Becky, Tammy, Heather, Steve, Elizabeth, Janice, Lori E., Julie, Jolene, and many others team mates and colleagues. She will never forget your kindness and compassion during her journey through her health issue. Also, thanks for the caring professional expertise of the Minnesota Oncology team, including Dr. Weinshel, Michelle P., Dana; and all the Chemo Clinical Nurses and Administrative staff. Special thanks for the AV Cub Pharmacy Team who kept her on track with all her medications. Although Lynn was fighting this disease she was at peace with the chance of meeting God face to face. Please come and celebrate Lynn's journey to the true light. Memorial Mass 10:30AM Friday, January 31st at the CHURCH OF ST. JOHN NEUMANN, 4030 Pilot Knob Rd. @ Deerwood Dr., Eagan.
