Patricia "Pat" EGER Obituary
South St. Paul Class of 1966 March 17th, 2014 After a brave and dignified battle against cancer, Pat passed away surrounded by her family. Pat worked at the local Snyder Drug Store for 39 years. She loved her family, her friends, and Gopher hockey games. Pat was born on December 25th, 1948 to Austin and Jean Hage. She is preceded in death by father, Austin Hage; stepfather, Landon Watson; and grandparents Alice and Henry Kammerud. Pat is survived by her best friend and husband of 43 years, Wayne Eger; son, Paul Eger (Allison); daughter Jody Krone (Dana); three beautiful granddaughters, Madysen, and twins, Lila and Lacey; mother, Jean Watson; brother, Mike Hage; and sister, Leigh Watson (Jon Evans). Pat also leaves behind many special family members, including sister-in-law, Julie Ollig; brother-in-law, Jack Eger; sister-in-law and brother in-law Linda and Dale Johnson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and, of course, family cat, "Fergie." Pat had so many friends that she loved, including good friend, Cathy McClellan; life- long friends, Faye Ormseth, Sue McDowell, Kathy Reichstadt, Marsha Mortel, Jane Mitchell; and her wonderful group of Snyder friends. Pat was so loved and will be missed by many. Visitation to be held at Southern Funeral Home, 414 Marie Ave., South St. Paul from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm on Friday, March 21st. (TONIGHT) Memorial Service to be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7600 Cahill Ave., Inver Grove Heights at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22nd, with visitation at the church one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home or the South St. Paul Educational Foundation. 651-451-1551
