Age 72 Of Mpls and Lake Elmo Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Graduate of St. Thomas Academy. Second generation owner of Murray's Restaurant and Service Ideas, Inc. An Original inductee of the Minnesota Restaurant Association Hall of Fame. Pat was passionate about Minneapolis and gave generously to the community by being active in many civic organizations and clubs including: president of Meet Minneapolis (formerly GMCVA). President of Downtown council, Board member of Minneapolis Chamber, Board member of Minneapolis Athletic Club and Wayzata Country Club, Honorary Chairman of the National Kidney Foundation for 25 years. He was an avid fan and supporter of all Minnesota sports teams. He is survived by wife, Joyce; children, Timothy (Mary), Christina (Brad) Brandt, Jill (Jeremy) Kummings, Megan (Mark) Blohowiak and James; grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, Connor, William, Eamon, Lincoln, Emma, Aaron, Maria and Henry; and great-granddaughter, Layla. He was loved and respected by everyone he ever met. Memorials preferred to donor's choice. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 3, 10:00 AM, St. Olaf Catholic Church, 215 S. 8th St., Mpls.
