Age 78 of Roseville Died of lung cancer on December 12, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Yvonne "Vonny" Swanson (nee: Kulenkamp); daughters, Leslie Hahn (Ron) and Julia Roman (Mark); grandchildren, Aubrie, Dustin, Darla, Dillan, Brenden, Shilo, Vanessa, Marianela, Andrea, Ana Laura and Carolynne; great grandchildren, Kylee and Layla; brother/sister cousins - Ralph Johnson, Geri and Bill Bauman; in-laws; Genny Joseph, Dean and Emily Kulenkamp, Karen and Roger Earle; AFS Children: Henry Chacon (Xinia) and Regina Michels (Peter and children); many special nieces, nephews and very good friends. Tom served on several boards helping children, the elderly, people with chemical dependency and building sanitary wells in Ghana, Africa. Because of Tom's service, he is leaving the world a better place. Visitation will be at the Roseville Memorial Chapel (2245 N. Hamline Ave.) from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, December 18th. Burial service leaving from the Roseville Memorial Chapel on Wed., December 19th at 9:30am for the interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Funeral service at 11am Wednesday at Presbyterian Church of the Way, 3382 N. Lexington Ave., Shoreview. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Arlington House, Senior Recovery Center or Ghana Wells. 651-631-2127
