Tom Rose Obituary

Rose, Tom Age 70 Retired Local Physician Thomas J. Rose of Stillwater, Minnesota died July 21, 2009 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Tom was born Aug 31, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN and raised by his parents Joseph L. Rose and Louise D. Rose in Saint Paul, MN. He attended St. Thomas Academy, The University of Notre Dame and The University of Minnesota for medical school. As a local physician, Tom touched and healed many through his years as a family doctor and endocrinologist at United Hospital and White Bear Hills Medical Group. Tom is survived by his wife Karen and his children, Margaret A. Rose and Joseph D. Rose, his two brothers Robert D. Rose (Lauren Swartz) and James D. Rose (Leslie Rose) as well as many other in-laws, nieces, nephews, and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary L. Rose (Dick Huberty). Family will greet friends in an open, casual setting on Sunday July 26th, 1-3pm at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5), Stillwater. Dear Karen, Maggie, and Joe,
You guys are a wonderful family and have always provided a a healing place for in your lives for those of us happy to have had the chance to become your friends. Tom was a easy gentle soul, full of wonderful knowledge and insights, as I knew him, and you all, as a family, and as friends, are wonderful to be near. I hope his passing rests easier on you as the days ahead heal your loss.
