Dear Val, Dick, & Matt:
Thank You for all the time and love you gave in caring for Valda.
I have so many fond memories of all our times spent with Valda. She was always a beautiful lady and a marvelous cook. From the time I was born, she was my special aunt. Her generosity overflowed to all her family and friends.
She will be missed by all who knew her.

I grew up next door to Mrs. Golling on Amherst Street. She was always such a delight to talk to and such an inspiration. Whenever I think of her I smile! May she rest in peace.

Forever in my heart will be the memory of Mrs. Golling and her daughter, Gert, as our lovely neighbors on Amherst Street, Tangletown, St. Paul. She was kind to our family, patient with the noise of the four Gardner kids(!), and an impeccable dresser. I think over all the years as neighbors, she bought more than her fair share of campfire girls cookies, supported school marathons, and was far too generous when any snow-shoveling was done.
On behalf of my family, Pat (RIP) and Judy Gardner, Pat Jr., Jean and Mike and myself, we're so grateful to have known her.
May she rest in peace!

Dear Val - Gram was a fabulous lady. When I think of her, things that comes to mind are her angel food cakes at birthday parties, and a beautiful, pink dress and jewelry at the Athletic Club during an Easter dinner. She was sweet, classy and always said nice thing to me, especially about you. I love you and my thoughts are with you, Dick and Matt. - Love, Marcy
