Age 88, of St. Louis Park, previously of Minnetonka, passed away on August 21, 2016 from complications of a head injury. Bill was born in St. Paul on June 29, 1928, the son of Nelson and Bertha Handsaker. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1953, where he was a member of Alpha Delta Phi fraternity. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1948. Bill was an award winning amateur photographer, skier, sailor, cyclist, and traveled the world, visiting all 7 continents. His greatest joy came from his family and friends, to whom he was devoted and with whom he often traveled.
