Richard M. HENNEBERGER Obituary
Of Eagan, MN On August 7, 2014 - Age 86 Passed away peacefully at home after 26 years of living with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rose; daughter, Janet (John) Picco of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Meggen & Kevin; great-granddaughter, Maria, all of St. Louis, MO; sister, Gloria Hamman of Duluth, MN; and his beloved cat, Annie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. & Armieda and his son, Roy. He served in the U.S. Navy twice, at the end of World War II, and then recalled for the Korean War. He attended Washington University, St. Louis, receiving a BS degree in Public Administration '57; Maxwell Graduate School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse, Master's Degree in Public Administration '58. He worked 35 years in local government service, 27 years as a City Manager, retiring from the City of Brooklyn Park in 1989. Memorial Service 6PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 with a gathering & reception after the service, all at The Lost Spur, 2750 Sibley Memorial Hwy; Eagan. Private family inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
