Age 85 Final curtain call, August 17, 2014. Cherished father and friend, Bob was met at "Stage Left" by his beloved wife Kathleen, and parents, Joseph and Grace. He is survived by his children Anne Anderson (Charlie), Thomas (Livia), Molly Stevens (Daniel) numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many special friends. Bob was a proud graduate of the Cretin High School Class of 1947, the College of Saint Thomas and the University of Minnesota Law School. Bob was a member of the Minnesota Bar Association and employed as a trust officer for many years at the First Trust Company of St. Paul. He later served in trust divisions for various banks in Sarasota FL and Santa Fe NM. Bob actively volunteered in many charitable organizations in all the communities he lived - his favorites being the St. Paul Winter Carnival and the Santa Fe Winter Ski Alliance. Bob delighted in life and was an avid skier, sailor, golfer, accomplished amateur actor and master of joke telling. He entertained and absolutely endeared himself to everyone he met. Most important of all, Bob loved his children unconditionally and his unwavering support is his legacy. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10 o'clock AM Monday August 25th, 2014 at Assumption Catholic Church (51 West Seventh Street, St. Paul). Visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery to follow the funeral service. The family will host a celebration of Bob's life 2-5 PM Sunday August 24th, 2014 at the Downtowner Woodfire Grill (253 West 7th St, St. Paul).
