Irene M. TVEIDT

Age 68, of Apple Valley, passed peacefully Dec. 6, 2017 with her family at her side. Born in New Prague, MN, graduated from Montgomery HS and attended Mankato State College. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter, Irene worked for many years in customer service at the Burnsville Sears until her retirement in 2002. Irene was devoted to her family, which she tended with care, as with her bounteous flowers. She sang lively and tender to her loved ones Happy Birthdays, and in car trips so dearly to cherished songs of youth. Her welcoming glow, sweet squeezes, and hearty home cooked soup warmed the Minnesota winters. She loved the ocean and for the past decade wintered in Oceanside, CA. Preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Steve Koralesky. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Dave Tveidt, daughter Marcy Rodin (Michael), son Ryan Tveidt, and grandchildren Sonja and Siri Rodin, as well as brothers Bob, Jim, Tom, and David Koralesky and sisters Phyllis, Darlene Braun, and Joanne Koralesky. Celebration of life on December 13 at Church of the Risen Savior, Burnsville, MN at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m. and noon lunch reception. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Dec. 14 at 10:35 a.m. with immediate family. Irene will be dearly remembered for her gift of love.
