Obituary Condolences

Formerly of St. Paul, MN Born January 3, 1915 and raised on the East side of St. Paul, MN, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the age of 95. Mr. Jensen was preceded in death by his wife, Marian of 65 years; sisters, Marlys (Roger) Johnson and Dorothy (Arnold) Stromberg, all of St. Paul, MN. Surviving are his sons, David E. (Char) of Grand Rapids, MI, James A. (Jennifer) of Boyne City, MI and Keith R. (Anne) of Denver, Co; grandchildren, Jeff, Peter, Andrew, Jack, Grace and Eric. Mr. Jensen was a member of Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church and a former member of Good Shepherd Church in Kettering, OH. He was a resident of East Lansing, MI for 13 years and a member of University Lutheran Church. He spent the last years as a resident of the Maple Creek Senior Living Facility in Grand Rapids, MI. Mr. Jensen was a Naval Officer in W.W. II, and participated in the D Day invasion at Omaha Beach. He was a graduate of St. Paul College of Law, and Executive Vice President at Elder Berman Stores in Dayton, OH from 1964 to retirement. Private services will be held.
