I just learned of Josh's passing through an alumni newsletter from college. Sad and shocking news for someone I will always remember to be so full of life! We went to school at the Academy and collage, and while not the closest of friends, we always had time for each other. College was fun for us with a few classes together, but mostly the time we and other mutual friends spend in the lounge area. We even got in a few rounds of bad golf together. Such an open and easy going person. Reading the many beautiful memories folks have shared...it certainly is a wonderful tribute to a beautiful man.

Dear Beissel Family...Josh has been such a good and wonderful friend over the years, as we have restored our homes...as he suggested ways to make our older home safer for our children...and as he gave us advice on our hoped for canine addition to our family...we can only imagine your shock and sorrow. Bless you so much in your time of grief...our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Thank you for sharing such wonderful, totally Josh photos.
In the last few days since learning of Josh's passing, all I've talked with whose path Josh crossed, had stories similar to mine.
A few years ago, I attended the wedding of a dear young lady who spent many of her teen years playing in dog sports. My husband couldn't attend so I went alone. When Josh saw me, although it had been nearly 10 years since we'd seen each other, he greeted me like his best friend. (How Did you do that Josh? We All felt that way with you.)
Josh then went on to share enthusiastically his real life fairy tale ... one in which he was the Prince and his cherished Princess (Kim) were excited to ride off into the sunset!
None of us knew the 'ever after' would be so short; but the quality of what Josh shared with so many was unique and so very special; truly godly love.
Lord, thank you for sharing him with so many ... and with us.
With deepest sympathies to all of you,

The Photos are so Totally Josh. Thank you for sharing them.
Since learning of Josh's passing, I've talked with a number of folks whose path Josh crossed.
A few years ago, I attended the wedding of a dear young lady who spent her teen years playing in dog sports. My husband wasn't able to attend so I went alone. When seeing me, Josh treated me like his best friend .. and although it was nearly 10 years since we'd seen each other, it was like it was yesterday. (How Did you do that Josh? We All felt that way with you.)
Josh then went on to enthusiastically share his real life, fairy tale .. he was the Prince and Kim, his cherished Princess.
Fairy tales are to last for 'ever after'. Josh, yours was far shorter than any could foresee, and certainly shorter than I would've wished for you, but the quality of what you shared with so many was unique and so very special; truly godly love.
Lord, thank you for sharing Josh with so many ... and thank you that we were included.
With deepest sympathies,

We met Josh some 25 years ago when he drove almost 100 miles to our cabin to deliver windows. Since then he has helped us many times. We have recommended Beissel to 3 neighbors and to my elderly mother. Josh was a smooth salesman and a true businessman. Mother, at the age of 93 told me her friend Josh was coming over for coffee and to look at her roof. He was a fine man. It is nice to do business with someone you like and feel good about. And oh the dogs.
He alwaws had time for our 4 lb pooch.

Josh was an amazing man and will be missed more than words could ever express. I had the priviledge of not only working for him but with him for 20 years, he was more like a brother than a boss. I will always remember Josh's great smile and sense of humor, as well as his incredible personality and wonderful people skills. Josh, you were such a great guy. We will miss you but always will picture you as the most handsome, vibrant friendliest, helpful person we could have ever known.

RIP Josh. You will be missed greatly. I will miss our late night conversations over a beer while we were both working late and our occasional opportunities to get out and golf together. Most of all just miss walking by your office and seeing your smile on a daily basis and being able to stop in and chat with you. May God Bless Kim, Jeff and your familes and co-workers to make it through this difficult time.
