Frank G. KATH Obituary
Age 90 of Little Canada and Lindstrom On November 15, 2012 Frank is now with the love of his life, Margie (married 61½ years); their three grandsons, Tommy Martin, Cris Cole, Jeff Kath; his parents; and his sister, Rose Marie. Survived by son, Richard (Asuncion) Kath; daughters, Karen (Orrie) Cole, Debbie (Jim) Martin; grandsons, Kevin (Kelly) Cole, Jim Martin, Jr., Dan Martin (Megan Wille); great granddaughters, Abby & Savannah Cole; sister-in-law, Edna Skorczewski; and Myra Kath. Frank had a 45 year career in construction, starting out as a teenager, working his way up to Vice President at Ashbach Const. Co.; and then several years with his own company, Kath Const. Co. of Houston, TX. His retirement career was spent in MN as the areas' outboard motor repair guru, rebuilding, selling and installing over 1,300 motors through Kath Equipment Co. During WWII he was a SGT in the 879th Airborne Engineer Aviation Battalion in the Army Air Force. He worked on building & repairing runways in Burma for our troops to land on. A gentle, honorable man, Frank loved and enjoyed his family, who cared for him in the last years of his life. Thank you to the staff at St. John's Hospital for the compassionate care, for both Frank and his loved ones. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, Nov. 19 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N.
