Patricia Marie KRAEMER Obituary
Age 84 of Bloomington, Minnesota Passed away on November 18, 2012 She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Kraemer Sr.; parents, Farrell and Emily Mussler Grehan; and her brother, Farrell Grehan, all of Queens, NY. Pat will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. The epitome of selflessness, Pat showed boundless enthusiasm for the endeavors of her children and grandchildren - never failing to remember a loved one's birthday or wedding anniversary. She enjoyed movies, bingo, pinochle and, especially, her Minnesota Twins. Pat spent many years entertaining at nursing homes, playing the piano while her husband Harry sang. A quick wit and a voracious reader, Pat engaged in lively conversations about politics and current events with family - as well as with fellow residents at The Commons on Marice in Eagan. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her cabin in northern Minnesota. Pat was born July 3, 1928 in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY. She graduated from Richmond Hill High School and attended City College of New York. After holding a variety of administrative positions in New York, she focused on raising her five children. Later, she returned to the workforce as an executive assistant to the president of St. Mary's Hospital, Minneapolis, MN. She is survived by her five children and their spouses: Harry Jr. (Julie) of Wilmette, IL; Steve (Kathy) of St. Louis Park, MN; Paul (Cindy) of Sudbury, MA; Marilyn Foreman (Christopher) of Eagan, MN; and Tom (Alina) of New York, NY; and her fourteen grandchildren: Suzie, Katie, Jill, Andrew, Mary, Peter, Shannon, Clare, Diane, John, Daniel, Christian, Eric and Luke. A visitation celebrating Pat's life will be held on Tuesday, November 20, from 5pm - 8pm at Washburn McReavy Chapel, 5000 W. 50th St., Edina, MN. Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm on Wednesday, November 21, at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 6 Interlachen Rd, Hopkins, MN. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.
