Age 64 Passed away Nov. 24, 2012 of natural causes due to health complications. David loved his family and adored his 3 grandchildren. He was a great friend and inspired many as a truly creative person with a unique way of engaging with the world. His imagination and interests knew no bounds. David was born in Winslow, AZ, and went to college at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He then lived in CA for 16 years before moving to St. Paul in 1986 to marry Martha, his wife of 26 years. In addition to his wife and grandchildren, he is survived by his stepchildren, Emily and Peter; his mother, Judy; brother, Richard and nephew, Chris. David worked in computer support for the Univ. of MN School of Social Work for 25 years. Information about a recognition event will be available later. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, to the University of Minnesota Libraries Literary Archives. 651-228-1006

Conversations with David were always interesting. He had a keen mind and I enjoyed working with him, he made it a pleasure to come to the office.
