Age 71 ~ Died on January 18, 2013 in Stillwater, Minnesota Greg was a man of endless curiosity, humor, and energy. As a professor of microbiology at the University of Minnesota, Greg was able to share his passion for science with students over the course of decades, while never losing his motivation to learn new things himself. His sense of adventure and drive to take on challenges of any size or scope were matched by an equally ardent desire to love and care for his family. Greg was a devoted husband to his wife, Elizabeth Barton Germaine (Sewell), daughters Edite Vivian Squires and Anna Jane Pogoloff, sons-in-law Jeremy Squires and Jason Pogoloff, and grandchildren Caleb, Chloe, Reilly, Max and Sasha. A celebration of Greg's life will be held in the springtime.
