Age 95 of White Bear Lake Our Beloved Pop Passed away peacefully at his home. Born in White Bear Lake on May 8, 1918, and died on April 3, 2014. Harry served in the European Theater dur ing
. He was a recipient of the
and Legion d'Honneur. Even though Harry lost his sight in battle, he saw the goodness in everyone. Preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 59 years, Theresa; son, Mike; parents; three sisters and three brothers. Survived by children, Randy, Dan (Mary), Nancy (Roger) Green & Mary Wrobel; grandchildren, Christopher, Monica, Megan & Amy; great-grandson, River; special friends, Judy & Pat Rezin; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Church of St. Pius X, 3878 Highland Avenue, White Bear Lake with visitation one hour prior to the time of the Mass at church on Thursday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Pius Church. Special thanks to Lifesprk, HealthEast Hospice, and his longtime caregiver of 10 years, Mary Swendson.
