Our sincere condolences to the Tidemann family. Pastor Paul presided over our Union Ceremony along with Pastor Anita, and will always have a special place in our hearts. Pastor Paul was a gentle force of grace, love, and justice. He will be remembered, and missed.

My wife Dixie and I have known Paul for 51 years. His friendship has sustained us from Illinois to Michigan to Guyana to the Twin Cities. He is a model for anyone who chooses the Lutheran Christian stance as engaging with the ever new world that is given us. He was gracious and understanding of those who opposed his point of view and strong witness. His was a life understanding that invites us to new life by warmly embracing those in society who are too often ignored and treated unjustly. Thanks, Paul.
