My favorite Jo story.
Halloween at Country Lakes Apt.(Naperville, IL) and was not counting on any trick or treaters, I mean come on...its apartments! That jokester Jo came over on her knees dressed in a sheet (classic homemade ghost costume, with eye holes and 2 holes for her fingers to hold her trick or treat bag) and knocked on my door and said 'trick or treat' using her pretend kid voice! I found something (was not prepared!), dropped it in her bag and thought that was over. OHHHH NOOO! She knocked again and when I opened and saw the same kid, I thought, well you know what I thought....'greedy kid'! She said she did not want any stinking candy she wanted beer! I could not believe my ears! And as I studied this 'kid', she giggled and I realized it was my neighbor across the hall-JO! Rascal JO! It was hysterical! She totally pulled one over on me!
I loved that girl...great friend, neighbor and am certain she was an amazing mother too! She loved her kids and grandkids! We did not talk often, but did keep in touch. I am so sorry for your loss! My heart goes out to her family!

Rest in peace Jo
