"Miss Pat" and Trisha" Nee Griffin Age 75 of St. Paul died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on December 27, 2015. She is preceded in death by her infant children Timothy and Paul, and brother-in-law John Wille. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Erick. Children: Michael (Anne), Patrick (Andrea), Sister Maximiliana M.C. (Kirsten), Sister Marie Grace L.S.P. (Molly), Rev. John Paul Erickson, and David. Grandchildren: Sigrid, Alice, Bridget, and Devin. Sisters Michelle (Larry) Winkler, Kathy Wille and brother-in-law Jon Erickson. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A woman of deep faith, abiding hope, and great love. She will be greatly missed, until we meet again. The family wishes to also thank the Little Sisters and staff for their superb care. We will never forget what you have done for us and for Pat. Visitation 4-7 PM Wednesday at Little Sisters of the Poor (330 So. Exchange Street, St. Paul). Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Thursday at the Cathedral of St. Paul (239 Selby Ave, St. Paul). Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Little Sisters of the Poor. 651-698-0796

Father Erickson and family,
We are saddened by the loss of your mom & sorry we didn't know.

We remember meeting her at Saint Vincent de Paul with your dad several times-she was truly a remarkable woman. By her smile alone, we knew she loved her family and lived her faith to the fullest.
May you find peace in knowing she touched many lives. You are forever in our prayers.

I remember fondly the many kindnesses of Mrs. Erickson during my time in St. Paul. As a friend of Sr. Maximiliana, she made me feel like I was a part of the family and welcome at any time. I know from her children that she was a woman of obviously deep faith, and trust that the Lord will be gracious in providing her reward. I will keep her in my prayers, and also the loving family she leaves behind.

Dear Erickson Family
Pat taught us by her simple life. We were so blessed to have her beautiful role model of wife and mother in our community. Her peaceful gentleness perhaps came from
her total abandonment into the hands of God. His will was her will.
One can only begin to imagine her JOY, greeting our Lord with, "Oh I know YOU" for indeed she had met with Him in her daily Masses and Rosaries,frequently.
