Ellis Eaner LaRose, age 54, passed away February 12, 2013 at a hospital in Baker, Montana.
Ellis was born Nov. 11, 1958, in Roosevelt to Kenneth Carl and Lois Mae Secakuku LaRose. He married Verla Balfany they later divorced, then he married Loreen Malnar, they also later divorced.
Ellis grew up in Altamont, he attended schools there, he enjoyed playing baseball, snowmobiling, riding horses, hunting, fishing, camping, snow and water skiing.
At the age of 16 he discovered a talent for playing the drums. He played in a local country band. He loved the spiritual ways, and was a sun dancer. He worked in the oil field through the years.

He is survived by his children, Jared Wade (Brandi) Mitchell, and their children, Sicily, Tristen, Aysia, and Jacob Mitchell, all of Rock Springs, Wyo.; Ryan Ellis LaRose, and his children, Ashley, and Kayden, LaRose, all of Grand Junction, Colo.; Warren Carl LaRose and his daughter Rhyann LaRose, both of Riverton, Wyo; sisters, JoAnna (Frank) Reed, Roosevelt; Erna Kim (Clint) Grunewald, Cedarview; Christy Gail (Tom) Seaver, Roosevelt; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lois LaRose, brothers, Francis Xavier, K.C. LaRose, son, Loren LaRose, and nephew, Kenny Atwood.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at the Hullinger Mortuary.
Burial in the Altamont Cemetery.
