Glen William Landers, age 77, returned to his Heavenly Father on February 14, 2013, after passing away at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colo.
Glen was born June 26, 1935, in Butler, Okla., to James and Verde Landers. He was blessed with 6 brothers and 1 sister who all preceded him in death.
Glen met his wife Jean in 1965 and they were married Dec. 21, 1965, and happily adopted two children. Jack Leon Landers passed away in September of 1984 and Glen is looking forward to seeing him on the other side.
Glen was baptized into the LDS Church on Jan. 16, 1988, and was sealed to his family on March 7, 1989, in the Provo, Utah, LDS Temple.
Glen loved camping and fishing with his grandkids and spending time with family.
Glen is survived by his wife Jean Landers, son, Dan Landers, daughter-in-law, Katie Landers and 5 grandkids-Skyler, Corbin, Alyssa, Levi, and Emma and his two dogs Pepe and Peaches.
Funeral services will be held on Wed., Feb. 20 at 12 Noon at the Duchesne 3rd Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m.
Burial in the Duchesne City Cemetery.
