Lee Roy Davis It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lee Roy Davis. Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Sandra H. Davis and his stepchildren Brett Fredericks and Kim Pierson. He is survived by his sister Ruth Howard, his life partner Peggy White, his children Terri (Davis) Herbstritt, MIchael Davis and his stepchildren Miles Fredericks and Todd Fredericks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his loyal dog companions, Molly and Skippy. Lee proudly served in the US Army and retired from the Mendocino County Sheriffs Department where he served as a bailiff. Throughout his career, he worked security for Masonite, 20 Mule Team Borax Mine, Sho-Ko-Wa Casino and was an officer for the Downey Police Department. He also followed his family's footsteps by his work with the Southern Pacific Railroad. Lee was a volunteer at Plowshares for Meals on Wheels and was an avid Jeopardy player, from his couch. Lee played guitar and was interested in trains, antique fighter planes and black powder shooting. His love of milk and Oreo cookies was unparalled! A gathering will be held on 2:00PM at Ukiah Senior Center's Bartlett Hall, 495 Leslie Street in Ukiah In lieu of flowers, donations to the would be appreciated
