Roy Wallace Roy Wallace lost his battle with cancer on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado at age 51. Roy was born January 11, 1963 in Fruita, CO. He is survived by his children Bobby Wallace and Ashley Wallace, parents Bob and Cookie Wallace, sister Rhonda (JJ) Jordan, nephew Lance (Kiersten) Jordan, companion Karen Bain and former wife Leyraee Wallace. Roy graduated from Del Norte High School in 1981, and went to work driving trucks. He continued driving until his health would no longer allow it. From 1984 until 1990, Roy lived and worked in Mendocino County, driving for Dutra Trucking and Cecil Matthews Logging. He enjoyed being outdoors and riding his Harley, driving his jet boat, camping with friends and family, hunting, watching Bobby play football and Ashley playing soccer as they grew up. We are grateful for the time we had with Roy, and we will miss him dearly. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Hope West Hospice, 3090B 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
