UNION — Mrs. Robin Black Erwin, 52, wife of Jack "Joe" Erwin, Jr., 223 Old Shetley Place, Union, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Erwin was born in Union, SC Jan. 10, 1962, a daughter of Hazel James Black of Union and the late Fred Hayes Black, Sr. She was a homemaker and attended Tanglewood Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Kristy Erwin of the home; three sisters, Kathy B. Erwin of Union, Judy Crocker of Spartanburg and Faye Griffin of Union; a brother, Fred H. Black, Jr. of Union; and three grandsons, Hunter Boulware, Jacob Boulware and Landen Boulware.
Mrs. Erwin was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Predue.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Branch. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jeffrey Tucker, Richard Crocker, Roy Youngblood, Jeff Erwin,Travis Black and Grady Tucker, Jr.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of her sister, Kathy Erwin, 646 Kelly Road, Union, SC 29379.
