UNION — Rev. James Earl Sherbert, 64, husband of Shelby J. Sherbert of 133 Hummingbird Lane, Union, passed away June 23, 2014 at his home.

Rev. Sherbert was born in Spartanburg County, Sept. 1, 1949, a son of the late Aaron and Eunice Sherbert Tucker. He was retired as pastor of the Faith Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Tracie Fincher of the home and Candi Lancaster and husband Leon of Jonesville; a sister, Patti Lane of Enoree; three brothers, Aaron Tucker, Jr., Bobby Tucker and Ricky Tucker, all of Woodruff; three granddaughters, Kelly Walton, Madison Chesnut and Macee Chesnut; and two great-grandsons, Triston Kirby and Adyn Kirby.

Rev. Sherbert was predeceased by a brother, Mikey Tucker.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Full Gospel Tabernacle of God, conducted by Rev. Randy Smith, Rev. Lynn Ford, and Mr. Tim Cooper.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rev. James Earl Sherbert, P.O.

Box 293, Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home 133 Hummingbird Lane, Union.
