WILTON - Lorraine "Mimi" F. Reynolds, 81, of Wilton, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at her home with her husband by her side. She was born in Weymouth, Mass., on Sept. 16, 1931, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Edythe (Tarbox) Bird Sr.
Lorraine had lived in Wilton since 1950. She enjoyed art in the form of acrylic and water paints and leaded stain glass, and enjoyed building doll houses, including all the furniture. Lorraine enjoyed traveling the world with her husband; either by plane, boat, car, or their motor home. They visited all 50 states. She was always looking for new places to go so she could go back again and share with others. Lorraine and Roland enjoyed living the winter months in their home in Melbourne Beach, Fla. Lorraine worked for Hitchiner Mfg. for 20 years.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 59 ½ years Roland Reynolds Sr., daughter Jo and her husband Michael Wadleigh of Wilton, and son Roland Reynolds Jr. of New Bedford, Mass. Lorraine is also survived by her two grandchildren Josh and Tricia. Lorraine is predeceased by her brother Fredrick Bird Jr.

SERVICES: Friends and family are warmly invited to attend calling hours being held on Saturday Nov. 10, 2012, from 2 to 3 p.m. with services starting at 3 p.m. at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St., Wilton.
