Androniki Florou

MANCHESTER - Androniki "Niki" (Moutsioulis) Florou, 89, died Nov. 10, 2012, in Manchester.

She was born Aug. 13, 1923, in Fourka, Konitsa, Greece to George and Soultana Moutsioulis.

She married Kostas Florou in Konitsa, Greece. In 1970 she emigrated to America and settled in Manchester. She retired in 1992 from the meat packing business.

Nikki was a faithful and active member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Daughters of Fourka.

She was predeceased by her husband; and her four siblings, Demetrios Moutsioulis, Athanasios Moutsioulis, Alkiviadis Moutsioulis and Malamati Xerias. She was also predeceased by her niece, Maria Giotas.

Family members include her sister, Ifegenia Giotas and her husband John Giotas; niece, Soultana Moutsioulis; nephews, George Moutsioulis and Nick Giotas. She also leaves behind many relatives and friends, here and in Greece.


services: Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral service will follow with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
