PETERBOROUGH - David A. Reilly, 71, of Peterborough, died Dec. 7, 2012.
He was born April 22, 1941, in Boston, son of the late John and Kathryn (Shea) Reilly. Mr. Reilly was a 1958 graduate of Lowell (Mass.) High School and received his bachelor's degree from Providence College in 1963.
Mr. Reilly has been a resident of Peterborough, since 1991 and had previously lived in Meredith, Nashua, and Chelmsford, Mass.
David moved to Peterborough to work for Peterborough Savings Bank. He served as an officer in many of the banks he worked in, State Street Bank, First N.H. Bank, and he retired from TD Bank as vice president of commercial lending in June, 2010, with over 45 years in the banking industry throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
David believed in serving his community.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Gervais) Reilly; sons, David Jr. and Jeffrey, both of Warwick, R.I.; two daughters, Elizabeth Hansen of Milford, Kathleen Chrusciel of Meredith; brothers, Dr. Phillip Reilly of Osterville, Mass., and Thomas Reilly of Wayland Mass.; a sister, Carol Reilly of Chelmsford Mass.
services: Calling hours at Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River St. (Route 202 south) Jaffrey, are on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church , 89 Main St. in Jaffrey.
