Donias Joseph Lamy

God returned to take his son, Donias J Lamy home to his eternal resting place. Mr. Lamy, 80 years old, was the son of Alfred & Rosa (Milot) Lamy. He was born and raised in Trois Riveres, PQ until he was 15 years old when he moved to Manchester, NH.
Mr. Lamy worked as a cement finisher in Manchester, surrounding areas and parts of Massachusetts all of his life. Mr. Lamy met his loving wife, Marcelle (Soucy) in Manchester, NH. They celebrated 50 years of marriage. They moved to Clearwater, FL where they lived for 16 years.
Mr. Lamy and his wife, Marcelle, raised seven children. He is survived by 3 sons: Donald R Lamy of St. Petersburg, FL; Andre F Lamy and his wife Mareen of Manchester NH; Daniel D Lamy and his wife Christine of Manchester NH; also 2 daughters: Pauline (Lamy) Whitaker and her husband, Michael of New Mexico; Denise (Lamy) Martel and her husband Robert of Manchester.
Mr. Lamy is also survived by five siblings: Florence Soucy of Manchester, NH; Yvonne Milot of Trois Riveres, PQ; Jeannine LeBleu of Clearwater, FL; Marie-Claire Burton of Hudson, NH; Frances Bedard of Goffstown, NH; also one brother: Francis Lamy of Forge Village, MA
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Marcelle; two sons: Roger D. Lamy of Manchester, NH; and Roland A Lamy of Hillsboro, NH; also a brother: Arthur Lamy of Forge Village, MA; and two grandchildren of Manchester, NH.
Mr. Lamy is also survived by many grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren which he all loved very much. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lamy had many friends and loved to play shuffleboard. He was also a friend of Bill W. for 39 years.
Services will be held at St. Augustine's on Saturday, November 24th at 10:30 AM
