MANCHESTER - Elsie A. Flynn, 87, of Manchester, died Dec. 1, 2012, at the Villa Crest Health Care Center.
She was born in Anthony, Fla., and was the daughter of L.M. and Matilda (Pierce) Hill. She was a former resident of Ocala, Fla., prior to coming to Manchester. Mrs. Flynn was employed with International House of Pancake in Ocala. She was actively involved with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Ocala. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
She was the widow of Thomas M. Flynn, who died in 1997.
Members of the family include her three sons, Stephen J. Stavrou of Manchester, Richard E. Stavrou of Cincinnati, Ohio and David M. Stavrou of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; one daughter, Shirley A. Jean of Providence, R.I.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Terry M. Stavrou, who in died 2011.

SERVICES: A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday in the Cain & Janosz Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 74 Brook St., corner of Pine Street.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Douglas Rickard, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr., Suite 110, Bedford 03110.
