NASHUA - Glen Poncet, 58, died peacefully at his home on Sept. 21, 2013.
He was born on March 21, 1955, in New York City, a son of the late Louis and Eleanor (Rosamilio) Poncet.
He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Cherry Hill West High School in New Jersey. Following his graduation he attended and received his undergraduate degree from Cook College. He went on to obtain his master's degree in wildlife biology from Penn State University
He had been employed as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration in Nashua for more than 30 years. He retired in 2011. He was also proud lifelong member of NATCA.
Mr. Poncet was a member of Club National in Nashua and the Amherst Country Club. He was a member of the New Hampshire Senior Profile Golf League. He was also a member of the ZBW Rotisserie League. He loved golf, horror movies and Las Vegas.
His brother and sister-in-law, Dell Poncet and Elizabeth Bennett of Philadelphia, Pa.; a niece, Heather Poncet-Weiss; a grand niece, Annabelle Woods; and numerous friends survive him.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. A celebration of his life will follow at 7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Humane Society of Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry St., Nashua, 03064.
