DEERFIELD - Jason Royd Markson, 42, died unexpectedly at his home on Oct. 3, 2013. He was born on Oct. 21, 1970, in Concord, the third son of Walter Markson and Edith (Twombly) Kimball.
Jason lived his entire life in Deerfield, where he owned and operated "Jay To The Rescue," a yard clean-up, snow-plowing and overall property improvement business.
Jason was a country boy. He loved people, he was kind and gentle, gave his love freely and completely, was a loyal friend and was willing to help anyone. He graduated from Pembroke Academy, Pembroke, in 1990. One of his high school teachers
once said that Jason was the only person she knew who could put wheels on a pencil and make it run.
Jason was predeceased by his stepfather, Warren Kimball.
Jason is survived by his mother, Edith Kimball of Deerfield; his father, Walter Markson, and stepmother, Barbara, of Dover; two brothers, Alan Markson and his wife, Deb, of Nottingham, Scott Markson and his wife, Jo-Ala, of Tilton; three stepbrothers, Richard Kimball and his wife, Deb, of Nottingham, Bruce Batchelder and Brian Batchelder; two stepsisters, Anita Kimball of South Berwick, Maine, and Trina Batchelder; four nieces, Lana Markson, Shani Markson, and Kaylin Markson, all of Nottingham, and Erica Markson of Tilton; two step-nephews, Cole and Ryder Tackett of South Berwick, Maine; one great-nephew, Jackson Markson of Nottingham; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
services: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m., at the Deerfield Community Church, 15 Church St., Deerfield.
