MANCHESTER - Jocelyne G. Charest, 67, of Manchester, died Jan. 3, 2013, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her family.
She was born in St. Victor, P.Q., Canada, on April 12, 1945, to Emile and Gertrude (Shank) Giguere and had resided in Manchester for most of her life.
She worked many years as a stitcher for Chicopee Mills.
Jocelyne loved spending time with her family, including cooking for them, going snowmobiling and fishing. She especially liked working in her garden.
Family members include her two sons, Daniel Charest and his wife, Karen of Hooksett and Michael Charest and his wife, Tayna of Manchester; her companion, Gilles Gosselin of Manchester and three grandchildren, Kyle, Dalton and Peyton. She was predeceased by her brother, Jean Yves Giguere.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held at the Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester, on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 a.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow in Sacred Heart Church, 265 South Main St., Manchester at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
