Marion L. Ewald

GOFFSTOWN - Marion L. Ewald, 86, died Dec. 10, 2012, at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided for many years in Framingham, Mass., and Port St. Lucie, Fla., moving to New Hampshire eight years ago. She was the daughter of Max I. and Sadie (Bardfeld) Hochheiser. Mrs. Ewald was a middle school teacher for many years in the town of Framingham, Mass. She worked with the Guardian ad Litem Program through the 19th Circuit Court of St. Lucie County, Fla., and volunteered for the VITA Program of the Internal Revenue Service for several years.

She was predeceased by her son, Richard Green; and her dear friend and companion, Edward DeAtley.

Members of her family include two children, Michael Green of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Madelin Carignan of New Boston, as well as two daughters-in-law, Carol Green of Winston-Salem and Kim Green of Westford, Mass.; four grandchildren, Dr. Abby Green, Brett Green, Ross Green and Matthew Green; three siblings, Gertrude Berman, Roberta Yecies and Louis Hochheiser .


services: Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast St., Goffstown. Rabbi Beth Davidson, of Temple Adath Yeshurun will officiate.
