Simone Desrosiers

ALLENSTOWN - Mrs. Simone (Stokes) Desrosiers, 97, a lifelong Allenstown resident, died Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Concord Hospital.Born on June 26, 1917, Simone was the daughter of Charles Stokes Sr. and Anna (Roy) Stokes. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Sprague Electric for many years and for Martin Caterers. A communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Simone was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the St. Theresa Rosebush Society.Simone was the widow of Herve Desrosiers, who died in 1983 and was also predeceased by her daughter, Nancy, in 2007.She is survived by her son Paul Desrosiers and his wife Dorothy of Pembroke. She was a loving grandmother to Alison Rand, Ryan Demers, Sherri Cote, Traci Arnold, and Kelly Snair; great grandmother to Hailey, Maxwell, Alissa, Madison, Sara, Michael, Ryan, Bobby, Kassidy, and Kaelyn; and great great grandmother to Aria and Chloe. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

services: Calling hours are Thursday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.
